New Client Information
Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in our services. We have tried to answer the most frequently asked questions below, but if you have any questions that we have not answered here, please do not hesitate to give us a call at (908) 857-4422 or send us an email.
Do you take my insurance?
We are out of network providers, which means that sessions are paid for at the time of each session (via credit card, HSA card, or debit card that is kept on file). You will be emailed a receipt that you can submit to insurance for reimbursement according to your plan. Most people have out of network benefits. If you are not sure, please give your insurance company a call and ask them what your out of network benefits are for mental health and also what your deductible is. In this way you will know what your out of pocket expenses are. We do not participate in any insurance because we do not want our work together to be controlled or your confidentiality compromised by an insurance company whose goals are not based upon what is best for you but rather on their profit margins.
How do I make an appointment?
Please click on the “Book Now” button, which will take you to the client portal where you can select the clinician you would like to meet with and the day and time that is most convenient for you. Within a few hours you will receive an appointment confirmation and a link to the client portal where you will need to complete all forms within 2 days of making the appointment. If the forms are not completed within two days, we understand you are no longer interested in keeping the appointment and will make the time available to others. If you have any difficulties with the portal or do not receive the confirmation email with the link, please call or email us and we will be happy to assist you.
What are your fees?
Please give us a call or send an email for our current fees and services. We are sorry, but we do not have a sliding scale and do not offer payment plans. The Mental Health Center in your County does offer a sliding scale. In Somerset County it is the Richard Hall Mental Health Center in Bridgewater.
Do you offer in-person appointments?
At this time, we are conveniently offering all sessions as virtual Telehealth appointments. This allows us to provide flexible and accessible mental health services to our clients, regardless of their location in New Jersey. Virtual appointments eliminate the need for travel, making it easier to fit therapy into your busy schedule. No needing to drive in bad weather or worry about traffic.
Our decision to offer only virtual sessions is based on current best practices and safety considerations, ensuring that you receive quality care in the comfort of your own home. Telehealth has been shown to be just as effective as in-person therapy, offering the same level of confidentiality, connection, and therapeutic benefit. Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, depression, or any other mental health concern, our Telehealth services are designed to meet your needs with convenience and care.
