There are several types of burnout: Job burnout, relationship burnout, mental burnout, and compassion burnout are the ones most people have heard of. Many things can cause burnout–your job, care taking others, difficult relationships, and having long term issues you can’t seem to get past.
Symptoms of burnout include: physical exhaustion, emotional fatigue, mind fog, low energy, having trouble getting started, feeling as if you are dragging yourself through the day, feeling more cynical, angry, and finding yourself looking forward to Friday when it is Sunday night. You might have headaches, body aches, and find you are catching more colds and generally feeling down.
